BLESSER WANTS MONEY BACK!

BLESSER Serge Cabonge is not blessed this time!
He’s up in arms and demanding a full refund of R60 000 from Solbeth Protection and Risk Management owner, Siya Xulu.
Serge was allegedly made to look incompetent after he hosted dancer Lira Galore and Siya didn’t provide the security services Serge says he paid for.
I was referred to Siya andHe seemed legit when we first spoke over the phone. Initially, he charged me R8 400 for the security services, but I said I’ll pay him R60 000, based on the fact we were going to need 24-hour security services for Lira.
“I paid the cash in two instalments of R30 000 each,” Serge said.
He claimed a day before Lira was set to arrive in Joburg, he asked for a meeting with Siya and his three bodyguards to give them a proper brief – but they never showed up.
“The following day I went to Sandton thinking he’s going to show up, but he didn’t. I was forced to fetch Lira and her team at the airport and make emergency plans for bodyguards.”
Serge went on: “Even through all the drama I thought Siya was going to redeem himself and render the service I paid for.”
He said he was forced to serve Siya and his company with a letter of demand from his lawyers, and has opened a case of fraud at the Lyttelton police station.
“All I want is my money. Now I hear he wants to refund me only 30% and keep the 70% – as its his company’s policy. I’m shocked as he didn’t even do anything for me,” he said.
Serge’s lawyer Louis van der Merwe, said: “We’re going after this guy. We’ll recover what’s due to us at all cost.”
Siya said: “Our company policy stipulates there’s no refund if someone cancels the contract on the day of the event. I had already booked cars and paid for services when he cancelled, so I won’t refund him. He was impatient when my guys were late and on their way to the airport.
“They were stuck in traffic and were 30 minutes late. He cancelled on the spur of the moment and was acting out of anger. It’s not my problem if he couldn’t wait for my guys to get to him and his client (Lira Galore) at the airport.”
Police confirmed a case of fraud has been opened.

    TEEN KILLED FOR R5!
People say that Neo Bembani refused to give the suspect R5.  ~
THE family of newly elected councillor Douglas Bembani was still celebrating his win when tragedy struck.
Last Monday the 13-year-old daughter of the councillor from Nkomo B Village outside Giyani in Limpopo was allegedly stabbed to death by a neighbour because she would not give him R5!
Residents described the 36-year-old suspect as a loner who preferred to stay indoors. Witnesses claimed after Neo Bembani refused to give the suspect R5 he became angry, saying now her family was rich.
Furious residents beat the suspect but he was rescued and taken to hospital to recover under police guard.
During the funeral on Saturday, Neo was described as a star pupil who always was among her grade’s top 10 and always scored above 80% for maths.
Speaking on behalf of the chief, his brother Gem Mahumani said the suspect’s family had not even bothered to apologise to the Bembanis.
“That just goes to show what kind of family they are,” he said.
He promised steps would be taken to ensure the village was made safe again.
“I don’t know what will happen to that murderer when he comes out of hospital. Prison or not, he and his family will have to move out. We don’t want to live among wild animals,” he said.
Neo’s madala, Bull Bull Bembani, said: “We lost our little angel. She had enormous potential and would have grown up to be a teacher or a doctor.”
Warrant Officer Thomas Makhubela confirmed a murder case had been opened and the suspect was recovering in hospital. “He will appear in court as soon as he is discharged from hospital,” said Makhubela.

Zuma has too much power - Blade Nzimande

      By Natasha Marrian | Aug 29, 2016

The South African Communist Party (SACP) has drawn a line in the

sand for President Jacob Zuma, suggesting he is too powerful both in the cabinet and the national executive committee of the ANC.

The party, which for a long time was silent about Zuma's administration, also said he could not be seen to be leading a faction in the ANC.
Members of the SACP are under fire from the dominant faction in the ANC - comprising the
chairmen of the North West, Mpumalanga, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal - and are among those likely to face the chop in Zuma's next cabinet reshuffle. The three chairman are informally known as the premier league
SACP general secretary Blade Nzimande said yesterday: "Don't hang cabinet positions over our heads to make us keep quiet."
He said "serious corrective action" had to be taken to ensure the decline in the
ANC's election performance did not accelerate and there was a "prevailing view"
the ruling party had lost its moral compass.
The party expressed disappointment at the ANC's reaction to the elections, saying
it had diagnosed the problems correctly as it had many times in the past, but
South Africans were hoping for a more clear sign of a willingness to act decisively
      against these problems.
SACP deputy general secretary Jeremy Cronin said while the ANC national executive
committee (NEC) was right to take collective responsibility, it was also necessary
      to take individual responsibility.
He said SA operated in a collective system, through the cabinet in government
and through the NEC in the ANC, not by "presidential arrangement". "It is hard to
take collective responsibility when there are tendencies towards presidentialism."
Cronin said it was incorrect to emphasise the president either for "better or worse".
The tendency towards presidentialism was likely a result of SA's legacy of its "larger
than life" president Nelson Mandela. The president should not be seen as the
"salvation" of the nation or the result of its downfall because SA functions through
      a collective system.
The SACP is calling on the ANC to convene a consultative national conference to
discuss the problems it faces and discuss ways to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Nzimande warned that an early elective conference, which he says was proposed in
a factional way by the ANC Youth League, would deepen disunity in the party.
"The winners will inherit a shell organisation."
Second deputy general secretary Solly Mapaila, speaking on how the ANC can
root out factionalism, said Zuma should not be seen to be leading a faction.
"The premier league faction has done things in the president's name and no leader
in the top six has spoken out against them."
The party also threw its support behind Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, saying
the Hawks investigation against him smacked of the attempt to prosecute Zuma
before he became ANC president. The motives for prosecuting Gordhan were political -
to capture the national treasury, it said.

KZN MEC dismisses 12 teachers for sexually assaulting pupils

      By Nomahlubi Jordaan | Aug 29, 2016

The MEC for education in KwaZulu-Natal has dismissed 12 teachers who were found guilty of sexually assaulting pupils.

MEC Mthandeni Dlungwa’s Appeals Committee had presided over and adjudicated 12 cases of both sexual relationships and sexual assaults since June.
“All appeals have been recommended for dismissal from the education system. This proves the decisive‚ tough stance of the MEC against the perpetrators of sexual relationships with learners.
“By allowing these teachers to continue teaching‚ the department is in violation of the (2000) amendment in the Employment of Educators Act of 1998 which states clearly that ‘If a teacher is found guilty of having a sexual relationship with a learner at his/her school‚ whether with or without the consent of such a learner‚ the teacher will be dismissed’‚” the department said.
“This kind of violation causes serious and damaging consequences for the victim(s) and in many instances‚ it greatly affects their ability to learn‚ study or participate in school activities.
“The MEC further urges learners who feel that administrators‚ teachers‚ or other students are subjecting them to sexual harassment to report these conditions to someone they trust‚ a member of the family‚ a member of the community and to relevant authorities.”

      ‘WE’RE BLACK AND PROUD’!

STUDENTS at Pretoria High School for Girls claim they have been subjected to racism and that their blackness has been discouraged.
Gauteng MEC Panyaza Lesufi will visit the school today to investigate the racism allegations.
The girls say school rules forbid African hairstyles such as afros, bantu knots, dreadlocks and braids.
They also claim they are not allowed to speak their mother tongue and that a teacher called them monkeys when they were singing and chanting in class.
The Citizen reported that a petition was circulated that had gathered 4 201 signatures by early Monday morning. The petition accuses the school of forcing black girls to straighten their natural hair and that they are accused of “conspiring” when standing together in groups.
Lesufi told Radio 702 that he had heard the allegation that when pupils spoke Afrikaans, no action was taken against them for that.
Some of the students staged a protest on Sunday, and security personnel threatened to arrest them.
