Polokwane - Limpopo police are investigating the rape of a man whose alleged perpetrator says she did it to quench her lust and had it filmed so she could become famous.
The graphic cellphone footage shows the man, from Makuleke village outside Malamulele, being pushed to the ground before he is forcefully undressed. His alleged rapist is a 50-year-old woman.
A case of rape was being investigated, but no arrests had been made yet, Saselamani police spokesperson Warrant Officer Sam Matsimbi said on Monday.
Both the victim and the perpetrator were married to other people and had children.
The victim's wife, whose name was being withheld to protect her husband's identity, forced her husband to open a police case following the alleged attack last Wednesday.
"This is unacceptable. My husband was forcefully raped. I want to see this woman rot in jail and justice taking its course," she said.
The alleged rapist told News24's correspondent she had had her eye on her alleged victim for a long time.
"I wanted to be famous. It's been long that I have been lusting after this man. I finally found him and pinned him down," she said.
The victim could not be reached for comment.
Police say they have not arrested the alleged rapist yet as they are still investigating the matter.
